THE WEDDING JOURNEY

It has been a rollercoaster ride during this journey of our lives. Nevertheless, it was and still is the happiest thing that has happedned to us. Though it has only been a little over two years, this marriage felt like it was meant to be. We have learnt alot during this journey of preparations. Lots of fun, stress and new experiences.

There were times when both of us sat down and wondered if we were ready for this huge step. Alot of obstacles we had to overcome, and we're glad we did overcame them, and from it we grew closer and even stronger as a couple.

Ofcourse, we couldnt have done it and all these would'nt have happen if it didn't involve alot of people, frens and families. Not forgeting the ladies of SNT, for throwing a hen's party for Wawa and me. It was fantastic, nothing i have ever imgined. It was a very well planned party. Both wawa and me were really touched. Until now, whenever i think back i still laughed at the silly thing u girls made us do.. hehe.

Our solemnisation was a very simple affair, with jus our family and relatives around. I was very nervous that day! It was raining that day when we headed to Sultan Mosque. I was told raining is a good sign. :) And yes everything went well, Azrull only had to say it once and we're officially husband and wife.

The wedding dinner the next day was magical. We felt like rockstars :P Ok personally i felt like a princess walking with my prince. It was like a dream. Even when i wallked down the aisle, it didn't feel real.. We both didnt get to see the decor until that night when we had our first march in. Everything was perfect! We love the tiffany blue with pink flowers, the lighting was great, the food was good and everyone was dressed so beautifully! We were so happy and excited when we saw our friends and families :) Thank you all for being there!! I wished time jus stood still there... :D

WEDDING BANDS - The Promise of Eternity

I think my body finally felt the strain from last week’s wedding prep ordeal… fell sick yesterday.. hurhur.. I took the opportunity to rest all I can for that one day.. Feel better now but still a little drowsy and tired.

So anyway… Last weekend was fulfilling! Our mission that day was to get our wedding rings! I was so excited for the bling bling :D We had our eyes on these wedding bands at Tian Po for a very long time. So we headed to Vivo City to have a closer look at it. I pretty much decided on it, which is an eternity ring with diamonds around it, but he had second thoughts on his. To make things even harder, the sales person said it would take about 8 weeks for the rings to be ready, which is just a week before our wedding! We really do not have anymore time to decide, so we said to them that we’ll come back again the next day to make the payment.
When we left Tian Po, it was already one hour past breaking fast. Damn famished! We went to Marche!! We had our stomachs filled to the brim man… we had huge chicken sausages, chicken wings, snapper fillet, crepe, pizza, calamari, very fresh delicious oysters, dessert cakes and tarts, and vanilla and banana milkshakes!! FUUYOO! We couldn’t walk after that.. hehe.. then we watched the movie “G-force”.

Ok la, quite cute and we wrapped up for that day :)

The next day Sunday came so quickly… and we’re supposed to view our house, but plan was cancelled. So we went Ikea to look see.. then last min Azrull wanted to survey again for his rings at other jeweler, so we went to Ion. We went to CityGem (where he got my Rosella engagement ring), then Lee Hwa (where I got him a white gold necklace for engagement), and finally settled down at Love & Co. We’ve never stepped foot in Love & Co before. Every time when we used to pass by the shop, I’ve always wanted to step in coz it looks so romantic and classy, but didn’t have the courage. Luckily that day we were both all out in hunting for the ring. They have so many and much prettier wedding rings than others. And it made me change my mind about the ring at Tian Po.. hehe.. I had my eyes and heart for this really gorgeous ring at Love & Co.! And Azrull also finally found the perfect ring there that suits him :) I really love the rings! I’m glad we didn’t rush into getting the Tian Po ones :D Same thing, the rings will be ready just 2 days before the wedding.. it’s too close for comfort and I hope nothing happens to delay the rings. I shall not tell you more about the ring for now and keep it a secret. You’ll see it when the day comes. :P
To celebrate on our achievement, we dropped by Starbucks for awhile to enjoy hot choc drink as well as a ‘sticky date and walnut slice' cake. I highly recommend this for those who like to eat dates.

Our night did not end there…we went Geylang bazaar to get my baju to match with him. It’s gonna be purple this year babe! And we bump into Apit and Myn there too, hehehe. And ya, my family painted the house with a new colour! :)

--Countdown to BIG day: 59 days--

MAKAN-MAKAN

I’ve been much occupied lately. First up the SNT iftar was great! Hanging out with this bunch of gals will never go wrong ;) Manage to spend quality time with them. After much discussion about the Hen’s party for Wawa n me, I’m quite afraid actually coz I really don’t know what to expect.. hmm… i didnt take much pic, but can check out more in FB.. hehe!

Then dinner with Pei Wen and Shirin at Thai Express. Anqi joined us this time. She’s a great help and ‘advisor’ for wedding planning :) She’s actually my Primary school friend you know?

But we had a short time together that day. Hopefully we’ll hang out longer next month.

Then another iftar with the usual geng at Kampung Chai Chee restaurant. We had lots of laughter and Esah’s tummy is really huge now! Too bad I can’t stay long too and again not much pic taken :(

Outdoor shooting on Monday was super fun but tiring. We went to two locations. We were all very disappointed that we couldn’t get any pics with the horses that day. Maybe we’ll arrange to have horses during the video montage. But the pics turn our very nice! Hehe cant wait to see the album! :)

Then Tuesday was the compulsory marriage course that we have to attend. It was conducted by APKIM. We took the individual English session, coz u all know very well my Malay cannot make it. I thought the course would be very boring. But I was so wrong. It was very informative; we learnt a lot of things and characters of each other. What was discussed was very logical and it opened our eyes to marriage. There were some moments where it got kind of emotional, or maybe it was just me who felt it. I got teary when Azrull was explaining why he chose to marry me. And when it was my turn to explain why he’s the one, I was trying hard to fight back my tears as I spoke. It was very intense and at that point it really hit me that I love him more than I thought I did.

Our instructor is a psychologist so he was very good at picking out our traits through his observation. With that he told us what each of us should and should not do when having probs. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience and we both enjoyed it. :)

Last sat went to OCC to meet up with the person-in-charge for our wedding dinner. We finalized everything! Theme would be gold and red. And we’ve got our invitation cards!! Yippee! We’re going to send them for printing soon so you guys hang on for it ya? =P

So I was on leave from Monday till Wednesday, then today on half day . Very tired but I’m still hanging on :)

MISSING U MY FRENS :)

I like fasting month coz there’s so many Iftar and meet up sessions! I’m missing all the missed peeps out there! First up will be with the SNT gals I think it’s on the 3rd this month, next would be with Shirin, peiwen & anqi on the 4th and then the usualz on the 5th hopefully. WooHooo!! I’m so excited I can’t wait! Wow three days straight of catching up with my frens! Happy Happy!! I miss them so much!

I’ll be having a meeting at OCC on the 5th so hopefully I can make it on time for the 5th ok Myn? Just go ahead n “chope” seats for me and Azrull.. heheh.. Next week Monday going for my outdoor shoot which was postpone for ages already. Then next day Tues going for the marriage course – full day course! I’ve got a long weekend this week but its packed and I cant rest… haiz..

But… at least I got half day today! Yay! Azrull and me had to run some errands ltr, and hopefully get to watch GI Joe which we couldn’t find the right time slot since last sat. OUU!! We watch Final Destination!!!! Damn NICE!!! GO WATCH!!! ‘Where Got Ghost’ also quite funny, enjoyed watching it :)

Ok la, I wanna check for the movie timings now… bubbye!

I feel so drained and tired. Planning your wedding by yourself is really stressful. I shall not go into details, headache already.. My weekends for the next few weeks will be tight. Meeting with OCC regarding the venue deco, going to ROMM, booking the mosque, the marriage course, designing the invitation cards and outdoor shooting next week... Fuuuyoh!! I’m so tired… I’m excited ofcoz, but I need to recharge man.. How bout a spa or massage?? I’ve started going for facials at Slimming Sanctuary with my mum, but its facial, not a massage… I need one badly =(

Out-of-the blue, my mum remembered that my grandpa has another home that was for rent. So she thought why not rent it to their grandchild rite? Our plan was to rent a plc in wdlnds so that its near his workplc, then take our time to look for the ideal plc to buy. Sounds easy? Not at all.. coz we MUST get it near the Turf Club or he will have trouble going to work at 4am, and on top of that, he doesn’t want to get a re-sale flat. It has to be new. The thing is there aren’t any new flats building around that area for now. So back to the story… last week went to buke at my grandparents’ plc and talked about it. It was successful and we finally have a place to settle down after marriage :)It’s not a big plc, but it’s enough for juz two of us for the time being. We are very excited about it and we cant wait to go IKEA shopping! Heheh.. So it’s one more thing striked out from our to-do list. =)

I’m so glad that my relatives are really into the preparations too, my aunt seems more excited than me… and she has this ‘idea’ for me n azrull to march in the wedding on a horse… how can??? Totally impossible to bring any horse in OCC la!

How was your long weekend?? Mine was awesome to the max! hehe.. I got to spend time with my family and Azrull at the same time :)

That’s coz he slept over for 2 nights at my place!! Yay! It was a last min thingie on Sat evening after his soccer match. I was darn bored the whole of last Sat at home while hubby was enjoying his match.. So he decided to come and sleep over to make up for the lost time and the plan for the next day was to wake up early and go out together.

By the time he finished and went home to shower n change, he reached my plc around 10 plus at night. Had dinner cooked by my mum then we just watched TV with my family for the rest of the night. By 12 midnight I could see that he was struggling to keep awake.. haha so cute. Can’t blame him coz he was working that morning till about 2pm, then proceed for his soccer. So I can imagine how beat he was. So I went to prepare my room for him to sleep. I tucked him to bed and bid him goodnight before I turned off the lights and continued watching TV with my mum. It’s so strange bcoz I still can’t get the fact that he is actually here in my room sleeping… hehehe. You know.. I was throwing tantrums at him for not bringing me out that day.. and then he came over for me. I think only he can tahan my nonsense huh? :P

I dunno how I managed to fall asleep, knowing that we are just a wall apart. But I woke damn early the next day all excited to greet him good morning! I opened the door and I saw him curled up with the blanket wrapped snugly around him. Till today I still tease him coz he looked like an ‘udang’ (prawn) when he’s curled up like that… hehehe… The air-con was too cold. -__-''

We had nasi lemak for brunch which my mummy bought from the market. Then we were too full and got damn sleepy. In the end Azrull took an afternoon nap while I painted my nails.. And we got too lazy to go out.. wahaha!! So in the end we stayed home until about 6.30pm to go catch the NDP fireworks!! My dad was planning this since a week ago for us to watch the display at his workplace. My dad works at Marina Bay Golf Club, so there’s a good chance we could get a good view. :)

It’s a pity that my sis and bf couldn’t join us…

We took the buggy and drove from my dad’s office to the golf course. Azrull and I shared one buggy, he drove ofcoz. After a short bumpy ride up and down the slopes on the golf course, my dad finally chose a suitable spot. Everywhere was dark coz the course was closed, but we could see the flyer and all from where we were. The view was great and the best part, there’s no one except us! My mum brought a lot of tidbits and food..

While waiting for the fireworks, my mum took a golf ball from the buggy and we both started to play golf in the dark. But it’s our version of golf – instead of using the clubs, we used our feet to try to kick the ball into the hole.. Damn fun leh! Kinda hilarious coz we looked like crazy women kicking around on the course. Then it’s time! The sky lit up with colourful explosions of lights. I feel like a child man.. We were there for barely 15 min and it was over. We took a few pics there and we drove back to the office. We didn’t even have time to eat what my mum brought.. haha! So we all ended up in the comfort of the air-con room and ate :) Played a few rounds of pool before finally heading home.

We stopped by Geylang on the way back… to buy… smelly toufu!!! My dad hates it to the core I tell u.. coz the whole car will stink! It’s actually fermented bean curd which has this horrible rotten stench, but when you eat it, it taste like normal toufu. It’s not rotten either btw.. The only ones who eat are my mum, my sis and me.. It’s my second time trying actually. But this time the smell was so overpowering that my dad had to wind down the window of the car for fresh air.. hahaha! Azrull has obviously never tried it before (so it’s a good thing to have a mix-blood fiancée to get introduced to weird food). But being in CD in NS has definitely helped him coz he’s smelled worst than smelly toufu. He said it smells like sweaty socks.. hahahha!

At home, we watched 2 movies back to back. First was ‘Night at Museum 2’ and ‘Transformers: Revenge of Fallen’ next. We all watched till about 3am.. We were so sleepy by then already. So I tucked him to bed again! This time I adjust the temp higher and gave him extra blanket.. :)

I woke up early again the next day to check on him and stayed by his side chatting and laughing away. Then we both went out for prata at the coffee shop nearby. We did eventually go out as planned to town later that day. We walked a little here n there.. And so that’s it. He went home that night :(

Why do time past so fast when I’m with him… It’s been so fun having him around at home.

Do yourselves a favour and watch “Hang Over”. You’re in for fits of laughter! Very fun movie to watch esp after a long week at work.

I was on leave yesterday u see, ofcoz together with Azrull.
We caught the show at Marina, laughed our hearts out in the cinema.. then head to Suntec for our reservation at Kuishin Bo!! The authentic Japanese buffet! – that’s what they say anyway… It’s our first time there. We are sushi lovers, so Kuishin bo is the ideal plc to dine!! So many varieties and the seafood are so fresh! We took lots and LOTS of snow crabs and sashimi!! The salmon is super fresh and delicious!! There’s hourly special where first 20 customers will get an exclusive dish. Each hr different dish. I decided to go n queue and it’s beginner’s luck that I got the last 20th dish!! Yay!! I got a bamboo clam! Not forgetting desserts!! They look so pretty and cute and delightful… got mini cakes, ice cream éclairs, cream puffs, many many more and a choc fondue!! HMMM YUMMY! Ok now picture time!! :)

Azrull is so sweet he kept cutting open the crabs to give me eat.. he said i needed to grow more -_-"He's getting better at it everytime! look at how concentrated he is... :P

BETRAYAL

Ahhh!!! I betrayed Starbucks!! I went to patronize Coffee Bean... :(

But i got no choice... Coz Azrull is a fan of Coffee Bean rather than Starbucks.. His fav drink Vanilla. And i ordered banana-choc. Its nice la, but i still like my chocolate cream chip from Sbux :)

To make it worst, azrull wanted to pose with their merchandise... ish ish ish... I feel so bad.. so guilty.. that's why i chose to pose with my new earrings.. i loike many many!

k la enough of my crap, im actually very bored at werk...

Last Sunday followed hubby to old Turf City for soccer match - between colleauges. My first time to the old turf, the grandstand is still there.... and alot of restaurants now reside there. And its my first time watching him play too. He used to play in a team when he was in sec skool but quit for his career now. He thought he wuld be rusty and nvr did we expect that he would score 3 goals consecutively for his team.. ceh!! hahah... so proud of him :) ofcoz he was happy but shy abt it.. hehe.

So he rested for the second half and watched his team mates won the match with the score 4 - 2 (i think). Then we cabbed to Sushi Tei at Paragon for dinner, and walked abit to Ion. i think i can get lost there.. Then we head home early coz we're both tired and he had muscle aches from the match.. haha..

That's all for now... still waiting for confirmation for the outdoor shoot.. We have 2 choices for outdoor.. one is Turf Club.. the other.. dunno leh.

NO REGRETS

Finally!! We took our wedding shoots.. BUT... For the studio ones only... i am dissappointed with the last min news that STC are not ready for us to take our shoots there.. so no choice we have to postpone the outdoor shooting. I was boiling mad ok! We felt so bad towards the crew and Hafiz (my videoman) coz we gave them hopes that they could shoot with horses and now we can't. Thankfully abg Yunos from Theme Photography is kind enough to postpone it and we'll have the whole day taking outdoor pics, most probably we'll have more than one outdoor venue. Insyallah. :)

We reached there bout 11.30am and Kak Anni from Chinta did her magic touch of transforming me.. hurhur.. The rest of the crew let Azrull watch 2 fast 2 furious while i got ready k! He was happily watching DVD at the sofa... ish..

My first was Thailand costume, which the heavy headgear almost killed me.. Next up was Japanese. I loike wat she did to my hair! I feel like some jap warrior chic in ancient times.. hahaha. Third outfit was a stunning blue-green traditional malay.. Very very the vogue man, Azrull made a very gd choice in choosing that outfit :) Even abg Yunos cant get enuf of taking our pics.. haha! Last for the day was a glamorous red traditional malay outfit. I have to say that colour really stands out! Abg Yunos let us see the pics he took and they're gorgeous! I'm not trying to say we both are gorgeous pple,what i meant was his skills were really gd! Not forgetting kak Anni who's very gd with the hairstyle and very quick at changing it to a different one too! One moment long hair, next moment curly.. hehe..

There you have it. We wrapped up at bout 6 plus... very tiring. We were both very unsure and awkward at first coz we dunno how to pose. Then abg yunos directed us and im proud that hubby is a fast learner! We were like pros by the third outfit :P

hehe.. we were both joking around on the set and alot of funny things happened. Like when abg yunos said 'ok adik, give a kiss'. i thot he was refering to me and we both turned to each other and posed like we're kissing on the lips.. but abg yunos said he was actually asking azrull to give me a kiss on the cheek, instead i also blur blur turned to kiss him.. so malu la me -_-''

And when he was calling azrull to turn, azrull thot it was me and did nothing, and this time i didnt turn. End up both juz froze there.. very the kecoh la! Finally he had to resort to calling Azrull "the husband" and calling me "the wife". haha!! But he was damn fun, the whole experience was "give me cheek to cheek", "nose to nose", "wife syg husband" and "husband syg wife somemore".. hahhaa!

You all are waiting for the pics right? Sorry to disappoint you.. i really had no time to take pics using my camera.. everything was in fast mode. Only managed to ask hubby to take one pic before we start shooting the first outfit and afew pics while otw home.. do stay tuned for the official pics aite. We've yet to choose the pics aniway... we're really glad that we stick to Chinta, no regrets..

We are 2 yrs already!! Yay!! Seems fast? Not for us.. it felt like we’ve been together for ages :D
Ok enuf abt our anniversary. Yesterday my man had a surprise for me.. after work he met me and said he’s bringing me somewhere. As soon as we alighted at Outram, I knew where we’re going!! To Vivo! For what? Watch Half Blood Prince!! Yippee!! I’ve been dying to watch it but always no good seats available… and Azrull planned this for me at the spur of the moment yesterday. We finally watch it and seat’s not bad too. I luv my hubby to bits!! The movie is obviously good! Funny moments here n there kinda reminds me of my school days.. hehe.. I can’t wait for the next one already!!

Tomorrow we both will be on leave coz we’ll be having our wedding shoot!! So exciting! I hope it’s not raining for our outdoor shooting.. Hopefully I’ll have time to take some pics with my camera… but I doubt I can.. so u all juz wait for the official pics on the wedding day la. Hahahah!!

Ok I’m at work now and supposed to be doing work… hubby will be joining me for lunch later! Yay! He has another surprise to give me again.. he said it’s from Indonesia.. I wonder what is it… I have to think of what to surprise him now.. hmm…

GALS MEET UP

It’s our monthly meet up session again! This time we went to D’wax at Clark Quay. The 2 gals did their brazillian, while I did the full manicure and pedicure. I didn’t do with them bcoz I did mine earlier on already. And it’s Pei Wen’s first time too! Glad she likes the outcome :)
We almost lost our way getting there.. to be exact, its actually along M sultan road.. so we took bus 23 from cityhall, alight at UE square then had a hard time figuring out the map… hurhur… we were so hungry we bought buns to eat on the way. I was still munching on my first bun and Peiwen was already starting on her second piece… and guess wat?? After she took a bite, she said it wasn’t hers. She bought curry instead she got tuna. Then I stopped… coz only then did I realize that the whole time I was eating a curry bun instead of my tuna bun… hehhehehe… I was so hungry I didn’t even realize i was eating the wrong one… hahaha!! How dumb…

Then… we cont the bus 23 to bugis and had our late dinner at Thai Express in Iluma. I heart thai glass noodles! :) Before our food was served, we gave Shirin her belated bday prezzie. It was a necklace with matching ear rings and a bling2 butterfly hairclip. She luvs butterflies.
There was this waitress (I think it’s a manager or sumthing) who kept checking on us. First she tried to persuade us to get this value card for $30. It sounds really worth it but nah… then she keeps coming back to check how’s the food n all… we even chatted awhile at one point… she went on talking about how long she werked at thai express and that she is from the Heeren outlet. She is so talkative and kinda reminded us of the District manager of Starbucks.. the way she talks and carry herself.. very enthu.. heheh.

So after makan, it was camwhoring time! Hehehhe!!

So we headed home… while on my way home… I bumbed intoWawa and Faz around my area.

K me and her got into this unfortunate situation with our bridal.. to cut long story short, we coincidentally engaged the same bridal and even the same makeup artist… then last month, the unthinkable happened. Our makeup artist was terminated from the bridal like 2 months before due to some circumstances. It wasn’t until I called them up that I knew wat happened. Immediately I told wawa the news, she was apprehensive at first bcoz he(the makeup artist) contacted her that day. There was so much confusion going on at that point.. so when everything was confirmed (he was terminated), I asked if he still contacts her.. She said not much. She tried to liaise with the other make-up artist at the bridal, but they were very unfriendly and service was bad. She might change bridal and look for the initial make-up artist.

Well I am not very pleased with the bridal’s service too.. firstly, why didn’t they have the initiative to call me after months? I had to be the one to call them up and ask when my photoshoot will be and the selection of dresses. And when me and Azrull finally went down fro selection, they did not show me the full range of clothes.. juz simply from the photo album. But I am happy with our choices, i mean they really have gorgeous outfits!... but juz got that sick feeling that I could have seen more. Who knows there are nicer ones.. but well.. at least I dun dislike my dresses. i shouldn't be greedy or be a picky customer.. heh!!

There’s jus a lot of doubts in me that are not cleared by them initiatively. I had to ask everytime then they will explain in detail… haiz.. but they are nice la.. no rude. Azrull and me are very tired of looking for another bridal and hence decided to give then another chance to proof their worth. Hopefully no more hiccups after this… I hope wawa has settled every doubts she has with the director of the bridal. Will wait for the news from her.

I was in such an awful mood yesterday… coz it’s supposed to be our photoshoot… but… the stupid turfclub got last min H1N1 exercise thingie, so they refrained visitors for that week. We had to postpone it to next Thursday. Luckily my videographer is free that day. Phew! On the bright side of things, yesterday was raining pretty darn hard huh? Azrull said that the grounds were still wet at the turfclub in the afternoon.. I guess it’s a gd thing we didn’t had our shoot :)

I so wanna watch half-blood prince to cheer me up.. it’s been an awful week!! Grrr...

For now, i'll settle with these balloons to make me smile :):)

Busy Like A Bee....

Been busy past week... we were gg around places meeting pple about our wedding. Went to Chinta Weddings for my selection of clothes for the photoshoot as well as the actual day.. Its so darn hard to choose , coz all of their dresses and gowns are so gorgeous!! Ish.. i wish i can have more dresses to wear... hahaha! But we are both pleased with our choices. Azrull especially likes this huge gown that i'll be wearing for the dinner. It wasn't what i imagined i'd wear, but it's definately unique n eye-catching. The lady who assisted us said the dress is an exclusive piece, not all brides get a chance to wear. Wee~~ Hopefully u guys like it too when u see it :)

My studio/ outdoor shoot is next week!! And i cant wait! Hehe... Gotta be there early at 10am, outdoor at 5pm and prolly wrap up by 8pm... It's gonna be a very exhausting day for us..

Then we also get to meet up with out videographer! he is an awesome guy! Very jovial and fun. His works are very gd too! He is very flexible in his work and we cannot wait to collaborate with him and his new launch animations! hehehe...

I also went hunting for my heels!! i was thinking of either beige-gold(somewat skin colour) to match ani colour of the dress... or the classic white. I went from tamp to town to Vivo, then finally one day i accidentally caught sight of a pair in this small shop at Suntec. It was love at first sight man!! It has sparkly diamond straps which can go with any colour, and it looks so elegant and preety!! And i bought it. Muahahahah!! I was so happy and smiling widely as i left the shop wih the heels. Azrull can vouch for that.

And ofcoz when shopping for the perfect bra :) Was thinking of getting corset from Wacoal. But they only come in black. It's ok, i dun really like wearing corsets aniway. My pockets are starting to have a whole already with the spending!! But... my mum say its worth it coz its wat i need... that comforts me a lot :)

Not only meeting pple, i also had to communicate thru emails with regards to the wedding cake and my henna lady. Already confirmed booking with her! :)

Ou!! We also found our song!! We lurve it! It will be played during the wedding march-in ;D

With all the arrangements and confirmations.. we really need a break. So busy. Should have engaged a wedding planner right? Nope! that would take away all the fun and knowing wat it goes into preparing for a wedding, esp your own wedding. And i get to research on what are the available choices out there and choosing the best one for us. If you asked me a year ago on bridal services, i will noe nuts! But if you ask me now... haha! I know which bridals are the top in their game & which decor is exclusive. These are ofcoz in my opinion.. you may have your own preference. Mebbe i can be a wedding planner now eh? heheh...

OK! Enuf of all this stressingful (but enjoying) happenings. Let's talk about more to life! We went to the beach for picnics and also watched movies!! The much awaited Transformers!!!! It is a very very nice movie! The 2-hr long action-packed show is very worth watching!! Megan is super hot too! To me she's much better than the over-rated Jessica Alba :)

And and!! Ice Age 3 - in 3D!!! Our first time watching a 3D movie... heehee, very funny la dey!! Go watch hor! Besides movies, we went bugis shopping, and ate at places here n there. Our fav now (besides Sushi Tei) is Waraku!!!

Whenever both of us past by gift cards or objects with a specific message for sumone special, either one of us will grab that and give it to the other. Upon reading the message on it, a smile will appear and soon after a hug with a "Aww...." This is one of the lame things that both of us enjoy doing la.. it's like getting the message across to your luv one but you dun have to say it... haha! Be it a simple "i luv you", or "i need a hug".. you know sumtimes these gift shops got all kinds of funny messages.. hehehe.. and we'll be inside there picking sumthing up and giving it to the other, then after reading smile and put it back again... hahahha!! It's juz one of the sweet moments :)

I was loading some pics from my camera, and i saw these photos... i cant believe i forgot to post them! It was weeks ago when i went Expo with my mum n sis. We were shopping halfway then my sis's slipper gave way... hahahah!! No choice have to buy slipper there... it was damn funny coz it was quite a distance to the slipper section so she had to drag one of her feet... hahah.. looks like she was limping...hahahh! Trying so hard not to make it obvious summore... ha!

Another funny thing happened at home last nite... My sis n me were talking with my mum in my parent's room. My dad was in the living room la. We switched off the lights in the room coz it was bedtime already, but we ladies continued talking... then suddenly my mum who was lying down on the bed, screamed and was trying to get sumthing out from her hair. I could see her shaking her head in the dark. It happened very fast. My mum jumped up n screamed, then me sis who was beside her started to scream, and eventually i was screaming too! And simultaneously, we rushed out of the room in this sequence - my sis, my mum and lastly me.. My first thought was a cockroach got onto my mum's hair. Then we all started laughing coz we were all screaming and running out together. My mum didnt even need to explain y she screamed but somehow me n my sis know. I feel so silly after that la.. it was my mum who was affected but in the end all three screamed... my dad was juz smiling to himself la... hahha.. the best part was.. my mum wasnt even sure if there was an insect. She jus felt sumthing move gently on her head. I asked if it was just her hair that was 'stuck'and fell into plc from gravity, and she said ya it could have but she wasnt too sure. so my mum made him check the room if there was anithing there. There was NOTHING there..... -____-'''

We screamed for nothing..... hahahah! and it made the whole situation even funnier! the funniest was my sis... she was the loudest who screamed( according to my dad), and the first one to run out of the room!! and she was the first one who asked my mum wat happened after running out... so from this we can conclude that my sis only thinks for herself!! ahahaha!!! Annie!! so selfish ah you, didnt care bout the rest of us lor.. got emergency confirm you run off first lor... hahhaha!!

That's wat you get for having all 3 ladies fearing of cockroaches, and the only hero that saves the day everytime - my dad.

SOMETHING TO LAUGH ABOUT....

Yesterday, Azrull n me fought... about chicken backside... YES. Roasted chicken backside. Stupid or wat?? Unbelievable but it's true that we quarelled over chicken butts. -___- "

It's one of my favourite delicacies by the way :)

The argument got pretty heated along the way.. see, he told me that his mum had lots of roasted chicken butts. Since I was meeting him the nxt day to catch the 3pm movie, he suggested me to come his plc early to eat the butts before we go.

Then yesterday, I was running late coz i overslept (hehe!), so i told him to pack some of the butts out and i'll meet him at wlnd int instead. BUT!!! When i was about to go out.. he sms-ed me that he was otw to my hse already. Then i asked if he remembered to bring the food. He said he delibrately did not bring along coz it wuldnt taste nice after one day and that his mum would buy more again. Then... i got angry... because i cant get to eat it that day.. Ya go ahead n laugh at me!

I went on saying to him that he shuldnt ask me to come over to eat in the first plc if it's not nice right? So this argument on chick butts led to another topic n so on... we were so mad at each other la!! then he said he's reaching my blk and come down if i still wanted to meet him, and added that he can watch the movie alone he dun mind. At that point of time, i was thinking i'm meeting him not becoz of him, but becoz of the movie. So out i went. While inside the lift going down... suddenly i realised the whole thing was very funny and i burst out laughing by myself! Shit!!

What am i going to meet him now that i'm laughing?? I tried to keep my cool and keep a serious face. The lift door opened and i saw him approaching me. I felt face trying smile but i had to control!! I walked until i was beside him and he didnt turn to look at me, he juz kept quiet while we walked to the bus stop. This time i really wanna laugh so bad and i tapped on his shoulder.. he turned to look at me.... he face was serious... but after one second, he let out a smile and both of burst out laughing!! hahahha!! He also found the whole argument dumb.. hehe..

so there we back to normal again and still laughing at wat happened. I still find it funny when i think back now... how silly am i??

Azrull said i used the chacken butts as an excuse to get angry. He said the real reason was because he interrupted my sleep... and i got cranky with him... hurhur... mebbe yes mebbe no.. coz i dun even know... Ha! It was our funniest fight ever! How i wish it will be this way whenever we fight again :P

Aniways... we watched Drag Me to Hell that day.. It was gd!! To us la.. dunno bout the rest of u. I almost vomitted... twice!! Disgusting! Cant wait for Transformers!!

Ahh... payday faster come... wanna do more shopping :(

MARCHE

This enrty is overdue… but still!! Last Friday had our DHL dinner at Marche. We met there after werk – some took Peter (my manager), others too the train from Changi South, while I was from Commonwealth. As usual there was a long queue to get in to Marche. But it didn’t seem like it took a long time before we were seated, coz we were bz catching up n snapping pictures. Time juz flew by and the minute the waitress managed to get a long table for 11 of us. Yerp can u imagine how kecoh it was :P

So we were given the ‘credit card’ by Marche so that whatever we ordered will be recorded in that card. I was walking with Ita to look for what to order… then Aric (my supervisor) came n told us that this dinner was on our GM! He was supposed to join us tht day but he couldn’t, so he offered to foot the bill. How nice!! Ape lagi… everyone went crazy with the ordering…hurhur! There was A LOT of food on our table… I really like the desserts… Hmm Mmmm… :)

And the bill!!! We handed over all 11 ‘credit cards’ to Peter at the cashier. Poor cashier girl… she had to scan n upload data from each of the cards and it took awhile for her to finish.. hehe.. While waiting, the rest of us were guessing how much the total cost would be.. the average was about $250 - $300… but it was $400!! We wonder if our GM ever regretted having offered to pay for dinner… Ha!!

After more photo-whoring… some of us had other plans for the night. It was already almost 10pm and shops were closing, so the plan-less peeps (including me) decided to hang around at the playground above.. I thot we could do some chatting… but noooo….
We were playing with the equipments… and it was damn fun!! It was like our inner child was released or sumthing… ha!! How corny.. but it is wat it is.. I nvr had so much childish fun in a long time! I bet the rest also feel the same J Peter said we were terrorizing the children there and taking over the playground.. haha!! He was like a father figure standing there juz looking at us letting down our hairs. And he took a lot of photos.. hahahaha!! I tried on this see-saw thingie.. it was fun… but it was even scary la!! I felt like it was gonna throw me up in the air! Everyone was laughing at me by then, so I ordered them to try. But they didn’t seem abit scared.. damn… paiseh already… hahhaa!

Then there was this twirling pole which gives u a headache… Ita was like the queen of twirling, she kept turning til she was dizzy… hahha! And then, the merry-go-round! Jessie was the first one who played, with other children there.. seems fun! So we waited til the kids went away, and we overtook the merry-go-round. Ita, Jessie. Su Ken and me. Our mission is to run and turn the ring, and then sit on it as it spins… Sounds simple? Not when there’s 4 adults and little sitting area. Wat happened? Some of us ended tumbling down and rolling away.. hahah!! We REALLY had a very good time, and these wonderful colleagues are hard to come by.. I feel lucky to have this relationship with them, coz how many of you can say that you’ve played at a playground and having your boss take pictures of you? Well we at DHL SBUX can :)

It was getting really late and we have to catch the last train… I was so tired I alighted at Bedok with Ita so that I could cab back home… hehe.. Had a gd chat with you babe :)
Til the next DHL outing! Probably a international/seafood buffet as suggested by Peter.. looking forward to it :D

~Weee!!~

Hmm... Wat can i say.. We really love animals! :D I think it's like the 3rd or 4th time we went there together. Not forgetting the second trip to Underwater World and Night Safari some time ago too... Wa how time flies...

It was a very darn hot day... but nevertheless we had great fun! I wore my new sneakers and shades which was bought for this trip... actually it's an excuse jus so that i can buy them la :P Lurve my sneakers! Its white and gold :)

Saw lots of really cute animals.. like the ground squirrels, kangaroos... bla bla.. and orchids!

The main highlight of the trip was getting to see the miniature horsies!!! They re-vamp the Kids area and the horsies have an area to roam around and stretch out. They r super cute la! Just imagine short legs and big belly... hehe!

Niway, i have to rush of from werk for my chemical peel again! So i'll leave u here with some of the pics... but click HERE more pics :)

Hehe... you can guess what i did on my weekends rite? The powerpuff gals(shirin/peiwen/me) met up last Friday for our monthly hang out... last month was for a brazillian *wink*.

After weeks of planning, we finally braved ourselves and settled for an appointment at Cathay... I so wanna do this for a long time but i couldnt pluck up the courage and didnt know ani one who has done it. Then there was this one day when pei wen and i overheard that 2 of our HOD in SBUX went to do brazillian. So that's how the topic started. Since Peiwen was nearing her menses, it was advisable not to go because that area will be more sensitive and will be even more painful, so she just accompanied us instead. Once at the entrance, me n shirin took a deep breath and push open the door. Being brazillian virgins, the therapist kindly explained to us how the process is and even showed us this cute book on it. Basically, the key is to relax and breathe! They are also trained to finish the job in 15min, so the lesser time we'll be in pain.. hehe..

I was up first, and ws introduced to my therapist Penny. She told me to take off my bottoms and lie on the bed with a towel covering my neither regions. Sweet~ Penny knew it was my first time, so she kept reassuring me that there's nothing to be afraid of. then she bagan to apply the first wax. It was very warm, very soothing... next she pressed on the paper strip, and with a swift movement, she ripped it off! Actually... it wasnt that bad! No pain!! There were afew areas that were alittle more painful but it was very bearable.. hehe!!
And she kept talkng to me about other things to keep me distracted. She also mentioned that most of the brazillian virgins come back for more coz their addicted to it. Having a clean n smooth "down under" certainly is a preferred choice. And it's more hygienic too! :) And before you know it, it's done!! All stripped off!! Very hard to describe the feeling... hmm.. just very clean n smooth la, haha! Shirin's experience was painlessly good too! We're so gonna do this again! Yes the next one will be with peiwen, still the virgin in brazillian, hehe!

After the life changing experience(which took us only 30min in all), we went to have dinner at Secret Recipe. All the jokes and bf stories... and teared while laughing at one point of time, hehe.. and i was given a belated bday gift from the gals! its a necklace and a black G-string.. hahhahahaha!! we had a fun time as usual, so til the next meet up! wonder wat we'll do next.. hurhur!

I finally watched Angels & Demons!!! i've been so wanting to watch it! When the DaVinci Code came out, i was wondering why they didnt show AngelsDemons instead :( But now they did!! I'm a reader of Dan Brown and i lurve his books! Read all 4 of them and qouting from one of the review, it is "un-putdownable"! I can't wait for his new book The Lost Symbol coming out in Sept this year, which is featuring Robert Langdon again for the third time :D

The movie is great!! I'm so facinated with the ambigrams featured in this story. Whether its upright or u turn it over, the word still reads the same; if not then it becomes another word. The only mini dissapointment is that they did not show the 5th sign as what was shown in the book... If you've read the book and watched the movie, you'll know what i mean...

Let's jus facinate at these ambigrams :)

Damn this entry is gonna take a lot of time! Juz bare with me ya.. it all started last month when we both decided to celebrate our bdays together since it only 16 days apart, and not forgetting our engagement a yr ago :) We thought of going Bintan, or book a chalet... but we're juz so lazy to go thru the booking procedures.. Very leceh. We like things fuss-free.. and so i went hotel hunting! Kinda inspired from what Apit did for Myn with the hotel n all.. Requirements for our hotel had to be in town, not dodgy and value for money. And I found it!! Quite amazing actually the hotel! Will tell you more later... And so we booked for a 3 days stay at this hotel. We both took leave for the following Mon & Tues. So we had a really long weekend from Fri to Tues :D
But nope that's not all... My dear Azrull has no idea what I planned for him, including a reservation I made earlier at this restaurant ;)

Oh wanna see my prezzie from him?? hehehe... We bought each other simple stuff coz we had to save the money for our mini holiday... i bought him this earpiece which caught his eye, and he got me this! I cant believe he actually remember how it caught my attention and how much i like it!

Hehe!! I'm a bear person la.... i even named it Slumber!! Isn't it super cute hugging the blankie?? Thank you syg!!

So shall i begin my story? I’ll start off from last Thursday aite? K this day has nothing to do with hubby, its bout my mum, my sis n me! We went for our appointment with the doc for... a chemical face peel!! hehe, finally we did it. K it's something like micro-dermabrasion but instead it uses chemical. It removes the surface of the skin, so that it will reveal new skin underneath. The effects? Reduce fine lines, uneven tone, remove scars, oiliness... basically juz having better brighter skin la. But ofcoz it’s not a one-time miracle thingie. Have to go 3-4 more times :) One word of adv... Dun do it juz before a major event. Like me :( Doc advice me not to go under direct sunlight n apply loads of SPF!! Arghh!! How am I going to go out with him the next day?? It's his bday!!!
My plan was to meet him at his house, so-called pick him up since it’s his day n all. But little did he know that I would be making a little detour to get this particular cake that I want him to taste. It's my all time favourite cake n I hope he likes it too.

So after getting the cake and trying so hard to avoid the sun… I made it to his lift lobby, where I squat at the stairs while removing the cake from the box and sticking the bday sign on the cake… I’ll make do without the candles coz… I’m afraid the winds too strong and I dun have a lighter.. heh.. his neighbour saw me and he must be thinking I’m mad fussing around with a cake… Aniways… i called him to open the door for me… but instead his mum did… and when he saw me, I tell u, his expression was priceless! Muahaha!!! Happy Happy Happy!! I told him that he has to eat a slice if not we’re not leaving the hse… so he cut the cake, and enjoyed his cake.. he even told me not to disturb his enjoyment… bla!! His mum thanked me for bringing him a cake too... :) And off we went to look for his shoe that he's dying to get. They're not bad actually.

And now the start of our fantastic holiday! I'll try to have lesser words and more visuals here aite.. I was lucky to stumble upon this hotel, it's only 3 months old! The stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant, items in mini fridge are free and replenished daily, free internet access, free local calls, free laundry services... and... they pick u up from any destination in S'pore and drive you to the hotel, free. Did i mention it's a black Mercedes... :)

I arranged for the chauffeur to pick us up at hubby's plc about 2pm. His name is David. We're so excited!! Here's a sneak peak of the hotel...

A little mishap was that the reception lady told us that our room wasn't ready... i mean... y did we bother to book in advance if it cant be ready right?? Azrull was getting really annoyed, and luckily the lady offered drinks for us while we wait at their restaurant.

I was surprised when she pushed on the wall and it pops out to reveal a ironing board! Cool! I juz cant wait for her to leave so i can take everything in and explode in excitement!!! The room is gorgeous!!! Mirrors everywhere! I'll show bathroom first k?

This is the entrance of the toilet, where we both are standing. Yup no doors! See the left side of the reflection? its the door of the wardrobe. Slide it over and it doubles up as the toilet door for privacy if you wish.

I'm now sitting between the tub and the shower area with a glass door.

And notice the huge glass window behind me? Yup, you can see right thru to the bed :)

There's even a speaker in there so you can have a bath and watch TV at once! Dun worry, for more privacy, there's a manual blind for you to pull it down.

We spent the afternoon watching TV, and hubby took a short nap to recharge coz he rushed back from work. We left the hotel for the dinner reservation i made for that night at Bugis :D

The reason i chose this restaurant is coz they took the initiative to create that romantic ambience for the mood of the occasion. They even went a step further to publicise their wedding services on our table... hahha.. This is my second gift to hubby, for always surprising me with gifts even if it's not my bday :)

We had a splendid time that night! We had a good night's sleep and even woke up late and missed our breakfast. Typical la!! ahha.. But we're in time for lunch. Food was great and filling. We were gonna catch a movie at town later on so we explored the twelve storey where the amenities were :)

Then off we went, a 10 min walk to orchard. Watch Wolverine!! Nice nice! Then head back to the hotel for dinner. Do you know that because of security, only hotel guests can enter using the access card through the lobby entrance? Cool ah! Feels like we're staying at a super condo! And we sometimes forget that we're in Singapore. Mebbe coz of the location, the hotel is secretly hidden in the hearts of orchard, where not many people would chance upon :)

Needless to say, we eventually got a dip in the pool (at 12am!), tried the steam room (sweat like crazy!), and there's no staff there to eye on us. Total freedom and trust. We even managed to drag ourselves out of bed for breakfast! We both had fun throughout our stay and we have no regrets coming here. It's all worth it! And you bet we're coming back to stay in this hotel again in future. It's service is really up to standard. We're not surprised that the rates will be increased when it's become more publicised. It's only 3 months old! No wonder not many has heard of this.

Hopefull we could stay longer the next visit, mebbe 1-2 weeks? heheh...

So in a blink our 3 days fun is over. It's so unbearable to leave the place... i'll miss the marshmellow king-sized bed... hubby misses the comfy slippers... hehe... We'll look forward to the next visit... soon!!

Still in holiday mood, we watched another movie called the horsemen at Vivo, had our dinner, then finally cabbed home. It was a monday night. Well, still have Tuesday on leave :)

Hubby came over my hse and we had a DVD marathon. I like spending time with hubby juz lazing around like this. Very peaceful. :)

This was how my mini holiday went. Splendid. Awesome.satisfying.

Consider it as our birthday prezzie for each other :)

FIRST ENGAGEMENT ANNIVERSARY :)

Last Friday 1st of May was our first ever engagement anniversary. How time flies and we've been engaged for a year. It has been a very wonderful year and i hope for more of it after marriage, insyallah :)

And it is also Azrull's bday!! I went to his place with the cake that i bought to surprise him. It is my all time favourite cake and i wanna share this with him. And true enough he luvs the cake too :)

We planned alot of things together during last weekend for our triple celebration - my bday, his bday and engagement anni. I hav lots to blog about and lots of photos!! It's gonna be a very long post, but i'll do it maybe tonight.

Met up with the usuals last Sat, well not really all of the usuals but good enuf :)

We met at Marina Square and watched Fast & Furious. Although i dun recall watching the first 3 parts, it's a movie worth to watch. Lots of excitement :)

And i tell u ah.. aishah's tummy is big la!! i mean compared to the last time i saw her, this is big to me la... She's aready 4 mnth preggie with her little boy, going into her 2nd trimester... u go gal! :D Even after seeing her, i still can't believe she is preggie! Hehe.. But she still looks great ;)

As usual we caught up with things, talked abt the past when we were still 'young' n lepak-ing.. Azrull is also warming up with the geng and dun feel so shy already :P

OU!! While waiting for our movie to start, Myn and Aisha supposingly went to the ladies. So the rest found a plc to sit n smoke. When they both returned, they were carrying a slice of cake with a lit candle and before i could say anithing, they were singing the bday song to me! hahah! I was so not expecting that coz they already wished me on my bday... i was caught of guard man! I still recall the first thing i said when i saw them approaching was "AHH!!"... heheheh!!

Although it was a simple day and we didnt do much, we really enjoyed the time... And we'll look forward to the next one and hopefully more will turn up.. heh! Wonder how big her tummy will be...

Yesterday went back to DHL office instead of Starbux office because we're having Starbux sale there!! Up to 80% off! Since we are considered SBUX partners, we got the priviledge to go in frm 10am, while the rest of DHL peeps can only enter at 12pm :) I heard that there were not as much items as last year, but my main aim is the Bearistas!! I went straight to to Rasul, who was at the bearista counter, and all they had was this year's Vday bear. That's the one i wanted. I picked out the best looking bear and also spotted the only mini magnet Vday bear from last year's Vday. The only one there! Hehe... U know it costs about $29 at retail price for the big bear, and about $10 for the mini magnet bear.. and here they're selling at $12 each bear, $20 for 2 of it, and for the mini ones its $3 each and 2 for $5... worth it right!? I mean if u're into bears la... like me :) The rest of them bought mugs and tumblers.. damn cheap too! each tumbler cost about $12 - $18 :)

The response for this sale was great! Almost the whole DHL was asking us about it. And during lunch time, the room was so packed that they only allowed limited number of people in at a time to avoid over crowding.. hehehe...

So back in the office, Aric my supervisor told us that there's gonna be a meeting at 3pm, then at 4pm and finally everyone made a move to the meeting room at 4.30pm. I already suspected a celebration coz... i've been here for over a year and every month will hav a celebration in the same "meeting" way... hahhaha.. Aniway, it was fun la :) There are 4 April babies - Peter, Suken, Jessie and me. So there were 4 candles for each of us, and we had to blow out only one candle each... same as last year... hahah!

Actually.. there are 3 more april babies - Lina, Amin & Wati :)

Missing them loads...

April must be a good month to give birth!! Ha!

I turned 23 today!! Took leave for the day, and hubby also took afternoon leave. I had a very simple birthday - went E-hub to do my nails coz they got a 20% off for bday month, and i blink-ed my nails sparkly ;P then headed to town to walk2, ate Pepper Lunch then off we went home! hehe... This is juz the beginning of my celebration, coz i'm planning to celebrate it with hubby's bday on 1st May, and it's our 1st year engagement anniversary! :D I've already planned out the whole thing for this triple celebration.. and he'll be kept in the dark :D Hope everything work out as planned. I wonder what he'll give me for my belated pressie... i know wat he wants for his already ;)

Guess wat?? A good galfren of mine, who also jus recently got engaged, signed up for the same bridal as me! Hehe! She found out last week during her meet up with her makeup artist, and overheard him saying that he had another client and mentioned about jockey... so trying her luck she asked if it was me, and true enuf she was right! Then she msg-ed me and told me the whole thing.. We chose the same package and have the same makeup artist! Apparently we also almost took the same venue as me but she decided not to at last.. and her wedding date is juz one week after mine. How interesting is that!? Imagine if we had everything the same - the bridal, the same venue and on the same day... wow... wat a coincidence... hahah! We were both amazed at how much in common. I'm so excited for her and ofcoz she definitely made a gd choice of the bridal as well as her makeup artist ;)

Like finally we, the powerpuff girls/charlie's angel/ musketeers, went to catch the shopaholic movie!! Hehe! A very good meet up since shirin left the office. And her new hair is rawking on her! nice! Hilarious movie, and a girls' kind of movie. cant watch with your bfs la. After movie, we walked to Wisma, then chilled at Starbucks to catch up. Hubby was in the area so he dropped by... then off to home. Cant wait for our nxt girls' movie trip :)

I wasnt that into this story until Shirin borrowed one of the books by Kinsella afew months ago - 'The undomestic Goddess'. It started out with Shirin telling us how she always miss her stop as she was too engrossed reading her book in the train. So since i was bored, i told her i wuld like to take up reading again. So she lent it to me, and i was hooked. one book after another. My first shopoholic book was the wedding, followed by the baby... yeah... i skipped the going abroad one and the sister one.. and now after the watching the movie, im reading the first book.. hahah! but it great that the author writes it in a way that u dun have to start from the first book. i've also read 'Remember Me', 'Can You Keep a Secret' and 'P.S. I Love You'. I read all in 2 months ok. Was like an addict to books lor... and thanks to the long journey to werk... i can finish quite afew books a month. I'm planning to finish the rest of shopaholic series and start on the author of p.s. i love you... cant remember her name la.. i know i'm like so slow and late to have juz started reading these books la coz it came out like super long ago.. hehe..

[OUR BIG DAY]

I havent got the time or the mood to blog, juz plain lazy. With all the thinking and planning, asking different pple for quotations for photography, videography, cakes etc... Really draining all my energy juices... and even got sick - 3 days MC... im still coughing and recovering though..

But i was fit enuf to visit The Weddding Diaries exhibition at Suntec last Sat. I was plannning to go down to this bridal that i had in mind, Chinta Weddings. Very gorgeous clothes they have! But i wanted to see if there was any other better bridal being exhibited... u noe, juz to be sure that the bridal is the final choice and most to my liking. The moment i stepped in the hall, my attention was grabed by this beautiful decoration - huge white ostrich feathers and sparkling beaded fabric laid on the dias. Breath-taking multi-tiered wedding cake that almost reached the ceiling. And really gorgeous bridal table setting... i went straight for it... and guess which bridal was it?

YUP!! CHINTA WEDDINGS! There it was! Save me the trip of going down to their office myself :) Think it's fated la :p

So this guy came up to us seeing how awe-faced i was.. and he seated us to a table and begin to let us browse through several albums. He was kinda shocked when we told him our wedding date.. coz its too short of a notice. He quickly flipped thru his schedule and turned to smile at me. He said the only available make-up artist was the bridal's main make-up artist... and that's him! hehehe! He said i was very lucky indeed. Then he proceeded to show me his works and i lurve it! I've already seen his work on their website and i'm certainly delighted to have met him. So he went on to explain to me the package that we were interested in, and gave me a few complimentary services too! And since i was able to sign up for their package and settle the downpayment right on the spot, he was able to book me the principle photographer of Theme Photography! Do you know that he is also the founder of Chinta Weddings?? I cant believe my luck! i've got 2 of the best pple for my wedding! Their best make-up artist and their best photographer! Alhamdulillah... :)

I have yet to confirm where we're gonna have our solemnization. It's either at my home or at a mosque.. So aniway, our big day is on the 14th November this year. Its a wedding dinner from 7pm to 11pm, there's a cocktail reception from 6pm onwards... And my guestlist is limited to 400 invited guests only, as it is a dine-in dinner and not a buffet dinner. So i dun think i can get everyone that i know to be invited... i really apologise in advance and thank you for ur understanding..

So we're almost done with our wedding preparations :D

I cant wait for my selection of clothes and my photoshoot in July! ~Weee~

I'm so so happy coz i got a very very good news this morning!

The story goes like this - I contacted the marketing Mngr (Andrew) regarding the booking of my wedding venue. I gave him four possible dates for the event but he said that they were all fully booked and could only give me another date which is a Sunday. That was the only date available for Dec. Nov and Oct were fully booked and i didnt want to push it further to Jan 2010.

So we settled for that Sunday. Both me and Azrull were dissappointed with it coz i dun wanna invite my guests to a wedding dinner and wake up the nxt day for werk. We planned to have a Sat wedding dinner. So no choice take Sunday...

Then this morning, Andrew called me and said that the date that i wanted was released and he shifted my booking to that day! A Saturday! was damn happy la!! Lucky or wat? heheh!!

There were lots of hiccups along the way coz Andrew went missing for awhile and my dad had to contact his fren(Selina) who's also in the marketing dept to help me with the booking. I've already arranged to meet her up to finalise the booking this Wed. Now Andrew got back to me about the change of date. So now i got to meet both Selina and Andrew this Wed... No worries!! As long as i get my date, hurhur... we'll have to discuss the menu, the number of guest, the cake, the wedding favours, bla bla... so exciting! I so cannot wait! It feels so unreal that i'm actually having a wedding! My wedding! k k relax... :D

so now updates -

I went for my dental to get my teeth polished. It's my first time since sec sch and it costs me 80 bucks okay! It's not as if i got decaying teeth or wat. My teeth are in gd condition the dentist said. But peiwen's mum said they used a better dental procedure which can last for a yr, unlike most dental which is 6 months. That made me feel better about spending that amount. hehe..
Then Shirin had her last day on the 6th this month, so sad that we the Powerpuff Girls/Charlie's Angels/Musketeers will not be complete. hahah... we'll miss you shirin, all the laughs and tea-time talks :)
I was so bored at werk last week, i signed up Facebook and Multiply... hahhaha! i dunno why i did that, i'm already lazy to update my Friendster, and i already have a Shutterfly to organise my pics online... i must be damn bored!! i hav a feeling i'll just abandon my facebook...hahahha!!
Then last Sat went to Peiwen's chalet for the advance 21st bday celebration, ate until very full... hehhe.. and her cake looked so lovely. We (DHL) shared a Braun Buffel bag for her gift. I didn't take much pics there tough.

I've finally changed my fone! I got an iphone which cost me $500 for first hand. Quite a deal considering that i dun have to sign up with singtel and it's not even a second hand ;)

So now i'm kinda broke, juz enough to feed me till my next paycheck... if not then.. Syg if ur reading this pls feed me... hehehe! :P

Now i'm having painful cramps i feel like crap man... argh!

It's our 19th month today!! Yippee! So we bought a little sumthing for ourselves, sumthing untypical. Will tell you ltr what it is. Aniway, I've realised that because of hubby, i've got a little more interest towards horses. If i see anithing that has to do with that magnificant animal, i'll go "Ouuu!! So cute!!". Really. So far, these are the collection of horsies that i have which i can't resist! Super adorable!

First up, is the first ever horsie i bought: A handphone holder.

The 2nd one i bought : A horse keychain with wings!

Then the third : A beanbag plush little horsie.

And the latest : A racing horsie with rein to hang on my phone.

This is particulary special as it is kinda rare to get a race horse kind, and... This is bought for our 19th month. Hubby has the black one with blue reins :)

So you can see i'm really into horsies! cute and chubby plush horsies! And my collection will not end here... :D

+ A SURPRISE VISIT +

So last Friday i was onleave... but hubby doesn't have a clue bout it! He was always complaining that i dun accompany him for his follow-up at the clinic. So, i applied leave on Fri. Usually i wake up at 7.15am for work. But that Friday, although it was my off day, i had to wake up at 6.45am, and left the house at 7.30am! Geeesh!! I can't believe it myself that i was even able to wake up that early, despite the fact that i'm always late for werk :P
I decided to take the train instead of the bus as i wuldn't get motion sickness while reading on the train. It took me about 2hrs in total to reach there from my home. I timed the journey okay. I juz begun reading the book and i'm almost halfway by then. Then i sms-ed hubby saying i've reached werk an all, and told him to call me when he's leaving for the clinic; so that i could say bye... but actually i wanted to know if i'll reach before he does... hehhe.
I was early :D I went up to his blk and sat at the fight of stairs at the lift landing. So there i sat, reading my book while waiting. I looked at the 2 Mc Griddles i bought earlier on, and wondered what his reaction would be :)
Then i heard it! - Rustling keys and the gates opening. I couldn't conceal my excitment! there i was seated with my book covering half my face and stared at the spot where he'll appear from behind the wall... He walked to the lift and pushed the button, still trying to sort the tangle of his earpiece - he did not see me!
And then suddenly he turned to my direction and he was stunned! Hehehe... All he could do was smiling from ear to ear and pointing his finger at me, as if demanding to know why i was there. Can see all the question marks forming in his head lor.. And the first thing he said was..."You stupid! U bluff me say you having meeting at werk!"...Hahahaha!! "You think i'll let you go there all by yourself?" - i said to him. Then he came over and gave me a big huggies :D
It's such a pleasure to give your loved ones a surprise out of the blue, esp when he's not expecting it. His smile lasted the whole day.

And i smile back too, knowing i've made his day :)

This is a little back dated... Last Sat o the 7th, was MAG Alumni Appreciation. I think so ah, So most of Amin's first batch of dancers came back. There were some performance put up by the diff sub-groups. The newbies were very sweet to give us alumnis a stalk of orchid each :)
At the last part, Amin wanted to have a farewell talk coz he'll be leaving town to further his studies very soon. Quite a number of us were teary eyed, then Amin distributed this card that he made personally to each of us.
It's rally sad to know that he wun be able to attend my wedding :(
Well to amin(i noe ur reading it), wish you best of luck okie! Will be missing you...

Alot of people have been asking me about when is my wedding. And seriously its getting on my nerves to keep repeating myself. Don't get me wrong, i'm not keeping the wedding a secret - like wat the hell for?? But if you can't get enuf of your wedding preparations, get off mine :)

So to the rest of my sincere and genuine frens who are interested to know, My wedding is supposingly to be held in May this year. But it will be postponed due to these factors:-

Firstly, some of you may know that hubby fell off a horse while at work and dislocated his shoulder, somewhere before our engagement last yr. He was in recovery for almost half-a-year. So most of the time we were concentrating on his recovery.
Secondly, Hubby banged his last toe against the gates while his horse was jumping out during the start of the race last month - fracturing the poor toe. He is still in recovery and on MC til now. So with two injuries almost back to back, he needs to concentrate and work even harder to get back into his game.
Thirdly, somewhere mid of this yr will be a crucial time for him as his contract with his trainer is ending, and hubby needs to consider on which trainer to sign on the contract. He has to choose wisely as this will affect his riding career.
And lastly, I do not think ani wedding dervices will be able to cope with the time-frame by May. Most of them will be fully booked and even if they can do it, i'm not sure if they can give a 100% due to the rush.

Now, being a very understanding fiance (ahem!!), how can i distract him with all these wedding plannings during his crucial part of his decision making in his career?? I want him to concentrate on getting back on track, physically and mentally. Let him settle watever career contracts he has to do (this determines how much more he can earn *evil laughs*) Only then can i get his full attention to discuss the wedding details, well... we actually got the ball rolling more or less on the planning :)

So to all my wonderful friends, please note that the wedding will be AROUND end of this year, that means from Nov 2009 - Jan 2010. More details on the date, venue and time on a later part towards the wedding date :)

[ CNY ]

A very long weekend indeed, on leave last Fri and all the way til today... shiokness! I've been out almost everyday past few days. So here's the breakdown (warning: long entry!) -

Friday:

I accompanied hubby in the morning to his appointment with his Doc at Gethin Jones for his healing toe. The Doc reckon he still needs another one more week. But Doc said it'd be the last follow-up and hubby will get the green light from him to start back at work :)
After that, he told me he wantd to bring me to this place to eat, but it was a surprise and the only hint he gave me was that he has nvr been to the place either. Even when we're in the cab, he told me to blast the ipod until he told the driver of the place. This kinda reminds me of when apit was blindfolded with music to his ears by Myn during his surprise Bday bash... hurhur! Only difference was that i could see where i was going. But even so, the surroundings were not at all familiar. So guess where he brought me to? Hehehe... let the pics tell you ;)

Know the reason why it's this place? It's because I love orchids and so hubby decided to bring me here, also to celebrate our one-and-a-half yrs together :D

Saturday:

Woke up pretty late, had a very good sleep. I needed that long sleep as i'm spending the nite with his family at Changi Beach. His Dad wanted to fish there so they set up a tent there together with two of his frens. His dad caught a couple of fishes and so did one of his fren. His other fren who also brought his family, had a little boy who was super cute! So me and hubby were 'layan-ing him :) The boy wuld call each of us 'Oi!', and always interrupt our conversation with "huh?", but we're nt even talking to him... and he'll laugh if he sees us laughing... hehhehe!! Aiya very cute la he! It was really windy that nite, and i was actually trying to fight off my sleepiness, heheh.. I couldnt take it animore so i went back at bout 5.45 in the morning, leaving hubby and his family where they left at bout 11am.

Sunday:

My mum had steamboat at home for our reunion dinner. It's like a family tradition already and ofcoz hubby's included. We had crabs, diff types of mushrooms, topshells, beef and watever that has to do with steamboat la. We ate and ate and ate, we even had ice cream in Sprite for desserts. Our stomach was F.U.L.L!! Then me and hubby when to Cathay for a late nite movie of "The Wedding Game". It was really funny and not bad for local film la. We expected everywhere to be kinda dead coz all shops will be closed for the holidays, so we juz walk around and chilled.

Monday:

It's Chinese New Year!! Hubby met us at my plc and went with my family to visit my grandparents :) After the visiting, we headed back to my place to rest. It was about 5pm and close to dinner time. So... My mum prepared the steam boat again! hahha... still got food left in the freezer la, so my mum said finish it up lor... Another round of food stuffing! And i'm still wondering why i'm gaining weight -_-"
My dad already booked lanes at the bowling alley at 7pm. So after dinner we went bowling!! Yay! Then me and hubby took the chance to check out the venue of our wedding. I think its settled that we are going to set this place. Most prob la, that is if the place is not fully booked "fingers crossed!" Some of you may know where, for those who don't know... here's a clue - i always frequent their bowling arena. Or check out the pics for more clues!

My weekend was great, went to Pasir Ris farm to look at puppies and kittens. I lurve the cute fur balls!! I saw my tiny toy poodle, and it's really small! And and! they got exotic cats in grey and a really beautiful white cat with black eyeliner kitten that i really fell in love with.. Nope i'm not going to buy it.. at least for now i'm not.. Coz it costs a F-ing 2K for that kitten! and another 2.6K for the toypoddle.. How bloody expensive... Haiz..

Next stop i went to Expo for the wedding fair... Yup it was a very fruitful one..i finally decided on the venue, insyallah it is available for the date that i want. If it is not, then i have to crack my head to find another venue... So after that day i've been so driven to enquire on all the wedding packages available.. Right down from the bridal, photoshoot and even bridal room decor and gubahan decoration.. Phew! some has got back to me on the price quote and i'm still waiting for a few nore replies. So far so gd, at least now we can gauge how much is needed and work around our budget :D Super excited ler!! Saw Esah there at the fair with Adliah and Cipah... hahah! What is this newly married woman doing there :P

Aniway my heart was so happy it went sha la la la la....! heheheh! My sayang gave me a surprise again by appearing at my doorstep as i was going to work yesterday morning :D :D How pampered am i? hehheehe.. He came all the way to tamp to send me to werk at commonwealth, then back to his home at marsiling.. I'm so touched and happy i can't stop smiling the whole day :) I cant wait for this Fri - i'm on leave and we're planning sumthing fun for that day!

Meet my new pet, Lowie! A cute little Pearly White Hamster :D I've been talking with hubby about getting a hamster. Everytime we'd visit the pet shop i cant help but look at the cute hamsters all squeezed together into a big ball of fur and sleep. So we've been checking out the different kinds of cages and food for the new hamster and ofcoz deciding on which breed of hamster we should get. So one day we went in Pet safari at Vivo and got the cage, food and bedding. Thankfully the assistant there was very helpful and advised us what are the needs of a hamster... heheh.. I didn't know hamsters can have a sand bath! So i had to decide on the sex of it - female! So there i spotted this furry little ball at the corner minding itself. That's the one i want :) So please meet Lowie!!

Last Sat went to hubby's fren's sister's wedding... hahah! It's a chinese wedding and the invitation card stated "Azrull and Wife". Huahaha!! Since when i bcame his wife? Well i'm soon gonna be aniway... :P So we got all dressed up and headed to York Hotel. we're supposed to be seated by at 7.30pm. But sinse it was our first time to a chinese wedding, we didn't know that it's a custom that it will officially start 1hr later. So there we were seated with barely there guests. Very nice hotel i must add. Very very nice n huge chandeliers hanging everywhere! While waiting, we got to meet my hubby's idol - he's the top jockey in S'pore. I finally get to meet him in person and hubby introduced me. He's like what hubby described, very friendly, very humble and good sense of humour. Hubby really looks up to him and hopes to one day achieve like him. He's also malay, so it give hubby that extra motivation to work even harder. I believe he can, with God's will :) So after a seven course meal, one of the horse trainers there invited everyone(mostly present were jockey, horse trainers and owners) to Bar None for a post party, Yeah!! We're under VIP listing :D So we were all having fun dancing with the live band there, ofcoz freeflow for us. But we left early at about 1plus coz it gets kinda draggy towards the end.

*** X'mas and New Year ***

Gosh i know it's kinda late now... so i'll juz do up a brief update on my holidays :)

This year is kinda laid back for me. No parties or clubs. Just a simple one. My and him went to have a nice lunch at Seafood Harvest on Christmas Day, we had lobster and steak. And then spent the whole day together shopping around from town to bugis and even Queensway.. heehe..

Nxt up is Near Year!! no resolutions, juz live happily and take each day as it comes. Countdown with my family, bowling at Orchid Country Club... huahuahua... Hubby and his bro joined us as well. It was the first time hubby ever bowled. Not bad for first time leh! And i beat my dad in one of the game :D On lane 17 - I'm the initial 'I'. 'A' my sis, 'J' my dad and on lane 18 - All 'A's are Azrill, Asari and hubby respectively. During the countdown, they turned off the lights while we stand by with the poppers from our party packs... We bowled til 1am in the morning.. hehhehe...

I've received quite a number of gifts this year for x'mas and new yr! so happy as i got my very first bonus!! hehehe... i've finally werked for 1yr with the same company. So proud of myself :)

** oh yes, alot have been asking about my toe after my msn nick " fractured toe". It's not me, but hubby... yerp he fractured that little right toe of his.. but no fret, he'll be ok in no time! :D

[ 21st DECEMBER 2008 ]

This date marks the wedding day of my galfren esah. Finally they tied the knot and no more singlehood ya.. hehe.. It was a very exciting day, both the bride and groom looked fantastic! We arrived at esah's hse at pasir ris first. Very chic decor - pink and black. Then we followed them to Amri's place at hougang. The guys took bikes, and the girls took Helmi's car. We almost got lost okay!! His decor was black and red. Their first oufit was traditional, in red. Very glamour :) The rest of us got to finally eat at Amri's place while there was a dance performance. They even had a chocolate fondue fountain, with marshmallows to dip!! Nice! We had lots of fun taking pics here n there while the bride and groom went to change to their second oufit - mordern wedding gown, very romantic ler.. hehe.. And then back again to esah's side for more photo taking. By the time the whole wedding ended, it was about 6plus - 7pm. Very tired, can't imagine how the newlyweds tahan, hahah! My foot was aching already! Azrull and i would like to wish both of you a very blissful marriage and may you have many wonderful kids! I'll join you shortly k esah, mebbe by nxt yr :)

+++ + SBUX ANNIVERSARY + +++

Juz came back from KL with hubby :) Though its short - i didnt get to go aniwhere coz of the lack of time, i still enjoyed myself. I stayed in the hotel most of the time, while waiting for him to come back from the races. And when he's back, he'd be tired coz the nxt day we're flying back... huahuahua! But ok la, i get to be with him and tt's all that matters... I got a really short get-away holiday this wkend :)

Updates bout last week... Wednesday was Starbucks 12th anniversary. Theme is "Ma Ma Mia", location at Mana-Mana in East coast. It's a very beautiful place, with a by-the-beach concept. Really great time, finally put faces to names of the store managers whom peiwen and i have been talking to all these times. I even met one of my fren, Hidayah :D

Registration is a must and we'll issue out orange wrist bands for those above 18 and blue ones who are underage, hurhur... There'll be alchohol served so we wouldnt want to be caught for underaged drinking rite...

Volley ball match is up since 3pm and teams of three from each store battle it out for a chance to win $300 cash prize. Then we finally had dinner served, yummy!! Sushi, pasta, satay, crayfish and the list goes on... Then the different stores had to come up with a performance, as well as my fellow colleagues from the support centre. The winner goes to the support centre for their team work. Very funny performance from every group!! Towards the end, it was the lucky draw session.. hahha! Most of the prizes are vouchers from Takashimaya and Isetan. One of it was a microwave oven, and... the grand prize is.... A thousand dollars CASH MONEY. Yes. $1000 cold hard cash. It goes to one lucky dude... wish it was me though...hahah! But not too bad, the commitee members got $50 Taka voucher each :)

So there u have it, my first time celebrating the anniversary of starbux, party ends at 11pm.. nxt day still hav to be back at work :)

Remember i said about this annoying fren of mine? Basically... She is always late. Dont get me wrong.. i'm not saying i've nvr been late. of coz everyone has been late, mebbe 15min or half an hr, but not everytime rite? Even if u r gonna be late, u will inform rite? But this galfren of mine doesnt. Everytime when i have to meet her, she'll make me wait for 1-2hrs! every.single.time.

I really dun understand leh?? Why ah? Already set the time to meet so why still can be late?? and for hours?? Not only she did it to me, but to all her frens, even BF. The best part is she dun feel the least embarrased or guilty. And and!! Even her boyfren cannot tahan her!! i dun think she knows that her guy is sick of her lateness!!

Let's see wat i've been doing... Hmm, Oh! I ent for this facial package by TOUCHE at Simei with Pei Wen. Diamond Peel was cool!! My face was really brighter after one side of it is done. Hate the squeezing of whiteheads. Our faces were as red as lobster lor! Eye Revitalising treatment is so relaxing and so did the scalp tension relief massage. We also did a body infra-red detox therapy. And also we also got free eyebrow shaping as well as eyelash perming :) It's my first time going for such treatments and i would definitely do this again for my wedding.

And... I was saying that i hope i'll be able to attend esah's wedding rite? I can already!! KL trip is this set in this weekend!! But.... Hubby said he might not wanna ride there. He's tired and wants to have that weekend off. I've already taken leave for that day... so we'll probably plan sumthing else in case he really doesnt wan to go. Mebbe spend the wkends in Sentosa? I've heard some great deals for the resorts there :) Either way it's fine with me. We'll see!

This morning my family was going to my grndparents hse, and we sent my sis to werk before that. Yup she has to werk on Hari Raya Haji. She werks at Zara Greatworld City now - Thanks to Ita & Malin ;) It's actually very near to my grandparents hse leh! heheh.. Then at my grands, i was discussing bout my wedding location with my aunts and uncles. One of my uncle is werking at Hilton Hotel and he has already made a reservation for my wedding date - 1st May. Then Aunt was suggesting a garden theme at Hortpark. But... I've always had my eye on Orchird Country Club. Hubby likes the place too.. So... we'll see...

Tomorrow's my off day, I'm going down to HDB to enquire about gettng an apartment, that is if i'm not lazy tmr.. hurhur... Then on wed is the Starbucks anniversary party at East Coast. The theme is Ma Ma Mia. Pei Wen & I will be leaving from werk at about 1pm with my boss Liz as well as other organizing members. We both are in charge of registration... ha ha. There'll be games, perfaormance, best dress and FOOD!! It's gonna end at 11.30pm. Think about how we're all gonna be at werk on thurs -_-''

My mum and sis came back from BHG with a paper bag of bras... Envious i asked if there was a sale going on, and indeed there was! I am super excited!! It's been some time since i wanted to get a new set of bras. I've already bought 2 box shorts from topshop, really cute! one is black with a logo of batman in gold, the other is white with a british flag imprinted. Got 2 small buttons at the front, really look like a guys boxer but the girls version, i loike!!

So yesterday i felt that i must go down to BHG to see the bras. And Peiwen and Shirin, she's one of the temp staff from finance, tag along too. heheh. Luckily another one of our colleague living in Tamp was going home and he gave us a lift :) The three of us nvr fail to laugh and chatter about everything, hehhee... From making of coffees to lunch and even otw home. We're like the 3 stooges or powerpuff girls - wat some of our collaegues call us -_-''

The bras that were having offer was from Pierre Cardin... nice.... :D We walked around to other places as well to survey for the best fit for the best price. After much trying on, me and peiwen settled on our bras. Its at offer for buy 1 get the other free!! hehehe... so we split the price of one bra :D Feeling much satisfied, we left home at 8pm. Luckily we are not the fickle minded when comes to shopping.

I'm so in the shopping mood this month! Ltr meeting hubby to go Anchor Point. All the retails are outlets, eg.G2000 Outlet, Clubmarc Outlet, Pedro Outlet... there's even watches and jewelleries. All items are cheaper than the usual price they sell elsewhere! Super excited ltr!!

So many programmes this month :) Last Friday went back to TP to watch the annual Pentas by TP Malay Arts Grp (Here's the link). This yr's theme is Silk. Overall ok la, but it's in Malay... so ya.. i spent half the time asking Ash wat happen -_-

BUT!! SNT was super gd!! Especially the comtemporary dance. It was meant to be a tribute to the alumni, all the way from the 1st batch. Amin did a great job in this piece and the girls really carry it off well. Nira was very powerful too, and funny!! i really enjoyed watching them. After the show, we went backstage where Amin gave his speech on his last choreography before parting to Australia. It was a touching moment... :)

Then yesterday DHL had this anniversary thingie at Vivo. Its a movie session cum buffet. The show that we were watching was 'body of lies' = boring. Hubby was meeting one of the owners at Hog's Breath Vivo for dinner too, so we planned to meet after tt. But we didnt expect that he wuld end so early. It was 7pm and the movie was still playing the trailers. I waited til bout 7.15pm when i told Peter that i'm leaving. Hahaha!! Aniway i heard from my frens that it was a boring movie. And i couldn't bear to leave hubby all alone. Never in my life i walked out from a movie! Even if its free.. hehe.. We walked around abit, then came to Rip Curl. And then he saw this pair of sandals... It's really interesting and unique i must say.. It has a golf theme and it makes u feel as though u are stepping on grass.. and it comes with the ball marker and tee. And he really likes it ALOT. So ape lagi? Buy for him lor... hehehe.

He's liking it so much that he wore it to werk this morning to show off... ;P

Next up is the Starbucks Anniversary on 10th Dec at East Coast. Got games as well as buffet dinner again :) Dunno wat to expect on that day. Ou ya! On 4th Dec, Starbucks will be giving free drinks from 5pm to 7pm island wide, to celebrate Salvation Army thingie. So do drop by during the 2 hrs to get a free drink!

Then on the 21st Dec its GF Esah's wedding!! So excited for her! But i'm worried at the same time coz i might be following hubby to KL coz he's invited to race there for 2 days. Not confirmed of the date yet... Hopefully it doesnt fall on the same day!

My thighs, buttocks and my right arm is really aching.. know y?? Coz last Sat went bowling with my family. After hubby reached my place bout 7 plus in the evening, we drove to Tampines Safra to check out the lanes. To our dissapointment, it was crowded and the damn receptionist - a retarded guy, refused to tell us how long the waiting list was bcoz he was busy doing his schedule. Like WTF!? So we drove off to the 2nd location - Ehub at downtown east. And guess wat?? No parking space available!! Patience is running out and we're all getting hungry. So the last resort is at East Coast. So off we go again to the third destination. But before that, we had our dinner at the makan place. It was kinda tricky getting a seat there, but thank God for these 2 Malay couple who gave their seats to us when they're done :)

It was already 10 plus when we went to check out the bowling plc. There were no doubt alot pf pple, but at least the waiting list isn't that long. Just after a quick stroll around the area and they called us about the availability of lanes :D

Hubby didnt want to play so the rest of us played til bout 1.30am. Hehehe... It's been a long time since we bowled. It has always been a family thingie for us. We've been playing since I was in primary school. Still remember playing with my cousins til 2 or 3am, then both families drive down to Jalan Kayu for prata. Loads of fun, it was more than just bowling. We stopped for quite abit because we're getting busier with werk, both my sis n myself have our personal lives too. So we kinda lost in touch with bowling. Wa i tell you i was so nervous to bowl la! Hurhurhur!! My bowling ball has lost its shine too!! Hahah! And my greatest fear actually happened again tt day. The last time i remembered that happening was years ago and i thot i got over it. But that phobia came back to me that very day - my ball slipped and fell on the floor with the loudest thud when i swung my hand back on the lane. And i thought to myself that that was it. I could already feel the stares at the back of my head. And sure enuf my family were all giggling at me already lor!! so malu la! But i kept my cool and tried at it again. I hope that will be the last time it's gonna slip past my fingers again! Well we were all rusty at first, but were picking up gradually. I even managed to score a little higher than my average scores - i got 188 in the last game :D Super happy, heheh. Dun think bowling is simple k, it makes your whole body work! balance, control and force. Damn i'm aching! HA!

And I'm glad hubby could join us that day :) So as promised, we'll have a game with my sis and wiwi ok syg?? Dun worry i'll guide you, hehehe... Till then, ta ta!!

::::: LONG AWAITED VICTORY :::::

I'm super elated for my beloved Azrull. Last Saturday during the race meeting, he rode a winner in the 4th race. As some of you know, he has just recovered from a dislocated shoulder months ago. It was a tough period of time for him, many disappointments and pain. But he persevered and his hardwork finally paid of last Sat :) We were so happy for him. His parents were cheering so hard for him during the home run and i was keeping my fingers crossed the whole time. At last syg you did it :) Hopefully this is a start to more winners in future. I'm so proud of you Lao Gong! :D

[ BIRTHDAY ENTRY ]

This post is dedicated to one of my galfrens - Aisha. A very Happy Birthday to you!! We had a surprise bday bash for her at East Coast last friday. I was rushing home like mad after werk tt day. hahha.. Lukily got there on time. We were hiding somewhere nearer to the shore where it was darker. Then we saw Aisha approaching with Amri leading the way... As she got nearer, we came out with the cake and sang her bday song. It was great to see her surprised look on her face and she couldnt stop saying thank you to everyone, hehhehe. We were happily chatting and laughing away. Aisha's wedding is in 7 weeks pple!! So exciting!! Now i'm panicking about my wedding... havent made any bookings yet!!! argh!!! i shoud be hunting for these bridal thingie by this month or the nxt.
